TOM and Veges

It’s that time of the month again, when I’m sapped of energy and obsessed with chocolate and snacking. I ate too much chips, when I should have been preparing dinner for my family and myself. I just couldn’t wait. Not good. What is good is that I’ve been eating a lot of fruits and vegetables lately. And I haven’t eaten as much meat as I usually do. I’m feeling wholesome and self-righteous. This must be how vegetarians feel. If my daughter decides to become vegetarian, I will totally support her. I heard it’s good for the environment, but I don’t think can do it myself. Being poor at denying myself anything and all.

Hey Lily.. looks like you are doing really well with your weight loss.. way to go! I also can get a bit obsessed about it and then fall off the wagon. I think balance is needed. When you have other priorities and commitments, sometimes they help as they take your mind off the food. Also exercise is a break and "me" time so its more enjoyable.

Anyway- you said u like step workouts? CAn you tell me more?

I can't wait for my step to come!

At the moment I like dance workouts best and old style aerobics. I'm not sure if I'll find the step heavy going.

Hi Skinnyminny8. Thank you for visiting.

Step aerobics can be very high intensity (therefore burning tons of calories) without being high impact. Instead of bouncing about, you're stepping up. The intensity might depend on the exercise DVD. I only have one, but I like it a lot and it's very intense but low impact. "Crazy for Step" by Charlene Prickett. It takes a while to get use to, but once you do it's fun.

Good luck to you!

I fear no one’s opinion! I am knowledgeable, focused, and efficient. I make this priority and build from experience. I do this for my children and myself. Supported by love, I will persevere.
